Description
During the event, Sand Ridge’s pioneer cabins will be open to interpret how the holidays were celebrated in the 1800s during early Illinois settlement. In addition to learning about Christmas past, attendees can enjoy chestnuts roasting and popcorn popping over an open fire, and sample period dessert recipes and hot apple cider. Everyone is invited to make a craft to take home.
