Description
Join Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra as it presents the fall performance at Orchestra Hall. The orchestra will present the Chicago premiere of "Transcend" by composer Zhou Tian, written to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. The concert will also feature Augusta Read Thomas’s "Of Paradise and Light" and Saint-Saens’ "Organ Symphony," along with Concerto Competition winner Nicholas Boettcher performing Koussevitzky’s Bass Concerto.
