Description
An evening-length program of the works of Chicago Children’s Choir alumnus and 2018 Pulitzer Prize finalist Ted Hearne. The “Unsettlement Anthems” program features selections from Hearne’s Sound from the Bench, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in composition in 2018 and is based on texts from the U.S. Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision, drawing further inspiration from the idea of corporate personhood; Fervor; Animals; and selections from Privilege.
