Description
The walk/run starts and ends on the paths in Lincoln Park with swag for participants that includes a ‘Pick Your Color’ short sleeve dri-fit shirt, race bib, finisher medal and a goody bag. Kids Run participants also receive a shirt, medal, bib and lots of candy. Confections will also be available throughout the course and at the finish line. Proceeds from the event will benefit GirlForward, a community of support dedicated to creating and enhancing opportunities for girls who have been displaced by conflict and persecution.Â
Event Cost: $15-$25 for kids race; $34-$49 for 5K.
Event Times: 8 a.m. 5K race, 9:30 a.m. kids race.
