Brush with Nature and Skokie/Northshore Rocks!
to
Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park McCormick Boulevard between Dempster and Touhy avenues, Skokie, Illinois 60076
In Collaboration with the Skokie NorthShore Sculpture Park, Anatomically Correct Arts presents "Skokie Rocks," a grassroots community art project for all ages and abilities. Members of the community are invited to hide colorful painted river rocks along the walking paths of the Skokie NorthShore Sculpture Park while enjoying the beautiful sculptures and scenery in the Park. (This is not a rock painting event, but rather a rock hiding and finding event.) Rock painters are asked to label the underneath side of their rocks with our URL: skokierocks.org. Once a rock is found at the Skokie NorthShore Sculpture Park, we ask that the finder take a photo of the rock and post it on the public Facebook page. After posting the photo to the Facebook page, the finder is welcome to re-hide it for someone else to find or keep it.
Event Cost: Free.
Event Times: Oct. 25-Nov. 2.
