During a one-day-only Bookathon at Barbara’s Bookstore, shoppers who donate 10 or more new or gently used books appropriate for children ages birth through sixth grade will receive a $25 gift card for use in the store. The donated books will be distributed by Bernie’s Book Bank to deserving youth throughout the Lake County area. All books donated should be appropriate for children. (The book drive will not accept textbooks, activity books, coloring books, video game guides, young adult/adult books or reference books.)
