Description
Inspired by the National Museum of Mexican Art’s exhibition "Arte Diseño Xicágo," Mexican Inspiration from the World's Columbian Exposition to the Civil Rights Era exploring the contributions of Mexican and Mexican-American artists and designers in Chicago, the fiesta offers a wide array of hands-on activities and demonstrations throughout the day. The program includes: a mural hunt, a printmaking demonstration, an open-air craft market, live music, Free Street Theatre performance and art-based activities.
