Description
Participants will experience the rich history of the South Side through a variety of activities, including all-ages artmaking workshops and other artist-led projects, live performances, and film screenings. "Celebrating South Side Stories" is a daylong event that highlights the Art Design Chicago exhibitions and projects on the South Side of Chicago and shines a spotlight on the South Side institutions and creatives who have contributed to Chicago’s vibrant art and design scene, past and present. Events will be held at the DuSable Museum, Hyde Park Art Center, Smart Museum of Art and the South Side Community Art Center.Â
