Description
American Ballet Theatre, internationally acclaimed dance company, is bringing 20 artist-athletes to perform live as part of the company’s cross-country road trip, ABT Across America, traveling to eight U.S. cities this July.
This 50-minute performance features the Chicago premiere of Lauren Lovette’s La Follia Variations; Jessica Lang’s Let Me Sing Forevermore set to the music of Tony Bennett; the famous pas de deux from Don Quixote; and Indestructible Light created by Darrell Grand Moultrie during quarantine and featuring music by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Billy Strayhorn.
