FAMILY FUN CALENDAR

Aerial Dance Chicago’s signature style of contemporary-dance-in-flight comes alive in “Blackbird”, an evening length work inspired by the symbolic freedom and mysticism of the blackbird. Through this interpretation, the choreography investigates darkness versus light, vulnerability versus strength and impetus to move beyond a bounded existence toward the discovery of flight. Recommended for families with kids ages 9 and up.

Event Times: 7 p.m. Saturday; 5 p.m. Sunday.
