Turkey Trot Chicago

Description

More than 8,000 people, ages 2 to 97 years old, kick off Thanksgiving Day festivities by heading to Lincoln Park to take part Turkey Trot Chicago. Race organizers will collect non-perishable food donations prior to the race, with all contributions benefitting the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Kids 2-12 can participate in the Plymouth Rock Ramble, with races ranging from 50 yards to 1/2 mile. The family-friendly event features the popular Turkey Day Tailgate, a free activation zone with Turkey Day bowling, football toss, cornhole toss, face painting, costume contest, the Kids Art Corner, hot cider and more.

Event Cost: $50, $20 kids 5k, $30 Plymouth Rock Ramble

Event Times: 9 a.m.-noon
