Top Public Middle Schools in Illinois

Kennedy Junior High School in Naperville tops the list of the best public middle schools in Illinois, at least according to Niche, which recently released its grades for Illinois schools as well as those across the nation.

To bring you the top 25 in Chicagoland, we combed through the data, which was compiled with statistics from the U.S. Department of Education, plus self-reported data from individual schools. Schools were then graded by Niche in three areas: academics, teachers and diversity.
