What to know about bus options available for Naperville schools

The city of Naperville is served by two public school districts: Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204. There are also private and parochial school options for students in grades K-12. 

Naperville Community Unit School District 203

  • Key transportation features: Naperville Community Unit School District 203 operates 130 buses and employs 145 school bus drivers. The bus routes service 30 schools across 32 square miles and provide transportation for 12,000 students every day. The district is the only one in the unit school system which owns its own fleet.

Indian Prairie School District 204

  • Key transportation features: Indian Prairie School District 204 uses an app called MyStop. The app gives parents an estimated time of arrival for the bus arriving at their child’s specific bus top. Parents should also know that Wednesday bus stop pickup times vary from other days of the week. The bus will pick up 20 minutes later for middle school; 10 minutes later for elementary school and 20 minutes earlier in the afternoon for high school to accommodate a professional development program.
