Seasonal Description - Winter:

Explore Fermilab science from a kid's point of view. Designedfor student field trips, the hands-on exhibits at the LedermanScience Center are available to the general public aswell.Visit the Cosmic Ray Shower wherethe showerdetects particles passing through the person standing beneath it,thentraces the paths of the particles with an array oflow-powered laser lights. A counter on the shower wall measures thefrequency of particles passing through the body.
