German International School Chicago

FROM THE Education

The German International School Chicago is a private, non-profit IB World School that provides students with a bilingual, international education from Preschool through Grade 8. Low student-teacher ratios enable students to learn in a supportive and individualized environment that nurtures curiosity and creativity while fostering global awareness. GISC students – fluent in German and English – become well-rounded, creative and responsible global citizens. GISC welcomes students of all backgrounds and nationalities. The current student body represents more than 40 nationalities. GISC is a highly open-minded, diverse, and international learning institution with a strong sense of community.

Non-German-speaking students are welcome to apply through Grade 2.
