There is a new addition to the dolphin family at Brookfield Zoo. Allie, a 26-year-old bottlenose dolphin, gave birth to a female calf on Aug. 2 around 11 a.m. At 3 feet long, the calf weighs 40 pounds and appears to be healthy and strong.
