Best Indoor Play Places for Kids in Naperville

Keep the kids entertained with these indoor spots.

In the western suburbs of Chicago, families can count on Naperville to keep their little ones entertained. There are plenty of nearby attractions that offer indoor activities for kids.

And after they play to their heart’s content, end the day of fun with something sweet! Here are our favorite indoor play places in Naperville.

Located inside Fox River Commons shopping mall, kids of all ages can bounce around this indoor playground. You’ll find plenty of play areas for kids to explore, including some gated areas for your babies and toddlers. For parents who need a break, the cafe offers coffee, food and drinks.

Families can spend hours inside this beloved children’s museum. The exhibits focus on subjects like science, math, art and more. There are even Young Explorers spaces for kids under 2. The museum also holds exciting family events like a Pajama Party, Bubble Bash for New Year’s Eve and special needs playtimes.

Get ready for kids to go wild at this indoor paradise! From rock climbing walls to a ninja course and a giant slide, even parents would want to join. What we love is that there are areas for kids of different skill levels. If your families are night owls, take advantage of the Friday and Saturday special where kids can play from 6-9 p.m. for $20.

Playroom Cafe Two

This indoor play space was so popular in Mount Prospect that the owners decided to open a second location in Naperville. And how lucky western suburban families are to experience this space designed specifically for younger kids (6 months-age 6) with a slide, ball pit, train table and toys. Note: Be aware that kids over 48 inches tall or older than 6 will not be allowed on the playground.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure

  • Cost: $22.99-$38.45 kids (tickets vary by number of attractions), $3.49 Urban Air socks (personal socks not allowed), $11.99 kids ages 5 and under

While the trampoline park is the highlight at Urban Air, you can take indoor fun to the next level with climbing walls, a ropes course, warrior course, bumper cars, go-karts and more. On Fridays 10 a.m.-noon, toddlers can enjoy the place to themselves with Jumperoo Toddler Play.
