Kelly James-Enger escaped from the law in 1997 to launch a fulltime freelance writing career. Since then, the former attorney has written eight books (including the Chicago-based "chick lit" novels, Did you Get the Vibe? and White Bikini Panties) and hundreds of magazine articles. She's also a popular speaker on topics ranging from health and wellness to goal-setting and stress management, and is an ACE-certified personal trainer.
But most importantly, she is the luckiest mommy in the world to Ryan and Haley. Her husband, Erik, and their golden retriever, Sugar Cookie, round out their Downers Grove-based family.
