Alaina Buzas lives in Chicago's South Loop but is originally from Michigan. Before becoming the Digital Content Editor for ChicagoParent.com, she worked as a designer for the magazine's parent company Wednesday Journal, Inc. When she isn't working, she volunteers with 826 Chicago, blogs about book cover design and cheers on her Detroit Tigers. Alaina is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she majored in Journalism and minored in Visual Communications. She also spent a year studying photography and eating delicious food in Italy.
