Alan Kercinik

Member of the Chicago Parent Blog Network

Alan is a creative director at a public relations agency in Chicago. He's smashed his work and personal life together and often counsels companies on how they can best relate to and engage with modern families. That's a topic he's spoken about at Marketing 2 Moms and the Dad 2.0 Summit. (He was invited to do so, but has dragged out a soap box now and again.)

Alan has three sons and he writes about fatherhood (read: exploits his children), trying to turn boys into good men and his hatred for Caillou at alwaysjacked.com. His writing has also appeared at Families in the Loop, The Good Men Project, ThirtyMag and Pregnancy Magazine.

He likes superheroes, but not in a dress-up-at-the-convention kind of way. At least, not until his boys ask him to wear a costume with them. Which he would totally do.
