The Apraxia Connection was established as a 501(c)3 public charity organization in 2012 by three Chicagoland mothers of children with varied degrees of apraxia of speech, global apraxia, and associated disorders. The volunteer board of directors, advisors and helping hands of the community strive to connect neighborhood resources and information on apraxia and associated disorders with the individuals, families, therapists, educators and other professionals who need them. The Apraxia Connection serves Chicago-area communities and the Midwest.
