Poor services of FRCD
By Lauretta on Monday, May 02, 2011
Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD), used to serve families in Chicagoland a year ago much better, when the old director was there. Now, with the new director things are out of control. For example, somebody in the office scheduled an appointment for an interview with a staff member to discuss about my friend's child's special ed.services. When she went there that staff member was sent somewhere and my friend was asked to come another day. My friend lives far away and of course she didn't want to go again. FRCD neither called her back for an apology nor re-scheduled an appointment. I also heard similar or different complaints about FRCD from some other parents. The Center was much much better when Ms. C. Des Jardins, the old director, was there.
