The Center for Speech and Language Disorders (CSLD) provides family-centered evaluation and intervention services for children with speech, language, and reading deficits.  Our skilled speech-language pathologists evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication skills including expressive language, receptive language, auditory processing, social language, articulation, voice, fluency, reading and writing.  In addition to comprehensive evaluations and 1:1 intervention, CSLD offers intensive specialized therapy programs.  The Language to Literacy and Leap into Literacy programs help students, ages 3 -18, improve attention, listening, memory, organization, phonological/print awareness skills, language, spelling and reading/writing fluency and comprehension.  Social Communication programs help children improve pragmatic language skills, such as initiating conversation, turn taking, using eye contact, and coping with transitions.  Please visit our website at www.csld.org or contact 630-652-0200 for more information.
