The Center for Speech and Language Disorders (CSLD) provides family-centered evaluation and intervention services for children with speech, language, and reading deficits. Our skilled speech-language pathologists evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication skills including expressive language, receptive language, auditory processing, social language, articulation, voice, fluency, reading and writing. In addition to comprehensive evaluations and 1:1 intervention, CSLD offers intensive specialized therapy programs. The Language to Literacy and Leap into Literacy programs help students, ages 3 -18, improve attention, listening, memory, organization, phonological/print awareness skills, language, spelling and reading/writing fluency and comprehension. Social Communication programs help children improve pragmatic language skills, such as initiating conversation, turn taking, using eye contact, and coping with transitions.
