On the second Saturday of every month, the museum hosts its Play For All program, which provides families with children with special needs a chance to visit the museum early, and play in a quiet, more manageable setting. Opens at 9 a.m. for the event and offers a quiet room with special lighting. Museum opens to the public at 10 a.m. Registration is required at (312) 321-6551 or chicagochildrensmuseum/eventbrite.com. The first 100 to register (limit six per family) receive free admission. No Play for All is held in July.
