Assists children with severe emotional problems. Staff provides services at public health centers, in homes, schools and in the community. The array of services includes diagnostic evaluation; consultation to schools and other youth serving organizations; services for the mentally ill/substance abuser; medication management by a child psychiatrist; counseling; linkage to services; wraparound planning and service coordination; in-home respite; crisis intervention; parent education and support. Pre-employment and job skills training, competitive employment and supported employment, specifically for individuals with serious persistent mental illness. Psychosocial rehabilitation.
