Easter Seals' Autism Therapeutic Schools are licensed by the Illinois State Board of Education for children ages 3 to 22. Their goal is to empower each student to achieve maximum independence. Easter Seals has three schools located in Tinley Park, Chicago and Rockford. Staff uses a total communication approach (augmentative communication devices, sign language, visual cues, gestures, etc.) to maximize learning opportunities. There are four classroom levels: early childhood, primary, intermediate and senior.
