TACA has two chapters in the Chicago area that hold monthly meetings and informal "Coffee Talks" where parents can meet up with other families and hear speakers on a variety of autism-related topics.  Speakers may include DAN! Doctors, therapists, experienced parents, etc. Parents can also sign up for a free parent mentor or become mentors to other parents. Meetings are in Crystal Lake and Oak Park/Naperville areas.
