Summer Musical Theater Camp at Chicago Kids
Company!
Does your child have the acting bug? Do they like to put on a
show? Then CKC's Summer Musical Theater Camp is for you! For
2 weeks every summer CKC offers a fun-filled theater experience.
Every day is packed with rehearsals for the show: each child
will learn acting, singing, and dancing. Some children will have
the "leading" roles, and some will have only a few lines. Every
camper will also be involved with designing and painting the
scenery, building the props, and creating the costumes. Along the
way, we take time to play theater games, eat popsicles, and have a
ton of fun!
At the end of the 2 weeks it's time to put on the show! CKC hires
professional lighting and sound technicians to create a fully
professional final performance--featuring the campers. For 2
evenings Parents, Grandparents, relatives, neighbors, and friends
are invited to watch the final performance!
CKC's Summer Musical Theater Camp is directed by the 2 CKC
founders and is open to children ages 10-15. No experience
necessary! The 2011 Camp dates are July 18 thru 29.
Camp is held at the CKC studio-10am to 3pm, weekdays only.
