Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Last admission one hour before closing. Closed Monday and holidays.
Admission: $15, $12 students, educators, seniors and members of the military, $8 kids 4-13, free kids 3 and under. Tuesday is a free day for Illinois residents with a valid ID or piece of mail.

Future doctors can glimpse the medical past, present and future. See an iron lung and enter a room full of antique X-ray machines. There are multiple opportunities for students on school field trips such as guided tours and demonstrations, including an amputation demonstration which showcases surgery before anesthesia and germ theory. The Museum is located in one of the only remaining historic Lake Shore Drive mansions open to the public.
