Hours: 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Extended hours, until 5:30 p.m., are offered on select dates; check website for full schedule.
Admission: $18, $11 kids. Ticket packages begin at $20 for kids and go up to $54 for adults. City of Chicago residents receive a discount on packages and Museum Entry. Parking $22.

See your heart beat 13-feet tall, climb aboard a World War II German submarine, take a tour of your digestive system, plunge into a working coal mine or control a 40-foot tornado. Visit new exhibits: Robot Revolution, Science Storms, and YOU! The Experience. The Idea Factory caters to children of various ages. Starting March 20, see Earth Explorers from National Geographic, a hands-on exhibit that allows kids of all ages to become explorers and journey to the wildest places on Earth. MSI's restaurants, The Brain Food Court, Jazzman's Café and Finnigan's Ice Cream Parlor, serve something for every taste, or pack your own lunch. Parking is available in the museum's underground garage for an additional fee.
