Explore Fermilab science from a kid's point of view. Designed for student field trips, the hands-on exhibits at the Lederman Science Center are available to the general public as well. Visit the Cosmic Ray Shower where the shower detects particles passing through the person standing beneath it, then traces the paths of the particles with an array of low-powered laser lights. A counter on the shower wall measures the frequency of particles passing through the body.
