An AAM-accredited history and art museum with permanent exhibits on the settlement and culture of Holland, Michigan, and galleries that house the museum's Dutch Collection of Fine and Decorative Arts, illustrating 600 years of art and culture in the Netherlands. Changing temporary and traveling exhibits are shown in the Wichers Gallery, and an Archives and Research Library can be found on the building's lower level. Off-site, the museum operates the opulent Victorian Cappon House Museum and the tiny Settlers House Museum.
