The museum is located in the former Gross Point Village Hall, built in 1896. Stop in and pick up a “Museum Bingo” game to play with your kids as you explore exhibit areas covering Wilmette and North Shore history. Kids especially love getting "locked up" in the original jail cell dating back to when the police department was housed in this building. Visit the museum website for information on upcoming programs and events including the History Detectives Club for children in grades K-6 and this summer’s “Where’s Archange?” family scavenger hunt.
