Kids can engage in do-it-yourself craft projects making simple
versions of traditional Native American items they can take
home. These include Northwest Coast rattles, miniature Navajo
woven rugs, beaded key chains, and coloring projects. The craft
activities, available all day, are recommended for kids 5 and up
(participants must be accompanied by an adult). Native American
stories will be read each afternoon at 2 p.m. in the museum's
teaching lodge.
