A great place for families where you can touch snakeskin, caribou fur, birch bark, turquoise and buffalo skin or sit inside a small wigwam. At Kids Craft Mornings, Saturdays from 11:00 to noon, and Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30, children learn about Native American culture through hands-on activities. Recommended for children ages 5 and up, but there is no minimum age requirement. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is necessary. Three temporary exhibits on view in summer 2013.
