Admission: $5, $3 kids 17 and under, students and seniors. Members and tribal members free.

A great place for families where you can learn about Native American lifeways through hands-on activities and engaging exhibits including a small wigwam and our new outdoor Ho-Chunk lodge. See temporary exhibits “Contemporary Native Women Opening Doors to Change,” “Pottery: A Timeless Tradition”, and “Connecting Cultures: 40 Years at the Mitchell Museum.”  Saturdays from 11:00 to noon, and Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30 children learn about Native American culture through hands-on activities during our Weekend Art & Seasonal Stories program.  Recommended for children ages 5 and up, but there is no minimum age requirement. Participants under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is necessary.
