Hours: The grounds are open year-round. Tours held 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, June-September.
This light used to tell sailors that they had reached Chicago. Grounds are open but the lighthouse is closed until June. It is not stroller-friendly and children under 8 are not permitted in the light tower. Restoration projects will interrupt regular seasonal tour scheduling.
