The Elk Grove Historical Museum provides an educational opportunity for all ages interested in rural life in the nineteenth century and the history of Elk Grove Village and Township. "The Doctor is In" exhibit features the history of medicine in Elk Grove from the 1830s to the construction of the first hospital in the 1960s. Visitors can also view a sick room, medicinal herbs in the garden, and a doctor's surrey in the barn. Call or visit website for program information.
