Visit nearly 30 acres of formal and informal gardens with seasonal plantings, including the popular Idea Garden with a section just for kids. Two history-rich museums are on the grounds too, one being the former home of Robert R. McCormick, Cantigny’s benefactor. The First Division Museum features our nation's military history from World War I through Desert Storm and kids enjoy climbing on the tanks outside the museum. Cantigny has many special events and programs just for families and kids, including Family Night Out, a new monthly program in 2014, and Art in Bloom, June 14-15. The park offers a restaurant (lunch only), coffee shop, gift shop and picnic area with playground.
