Hours: 9:30 a.m.-noon Monday (9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. June–August); 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday–Saturday; noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
Admission: $11, $10 seniors, free kids under 12 months and members

Seventeen hands-on interactive exhibits for children ages birth to 8, including Car Care, Dominick's supermarket, Ravinia Festival Music Makers and a new expanded Pet Vet exhibit debuting in March. Visit the Japan and Nature: Spirits of the Seasons exhibit through July 14, and Eggs to Chicks live hatching (March 18-June 16). The 2-acre outdoor Habitat Park exhibit will burn off excess energy starting in late March (weather dependent). Four infant areas provide a safe place for babies to explore. Cosi cafe in the Museum offers an easy lunch option, with kid-friendly food items.
