Admission: $12, $11 seniors, free kids under 12 months and members.

Seventeen hands-on interactive exhibits for children ages birth to 8, including SpotHero Car Garage, Whole Foods Market, Ravinia Festival Music Makers and a newly-expanded Adventures in Art studio. Construct architectural masterpieces in the Build It! exhibit through May 3, and explore the world of visual art in Chagall for Children, opening May 27. The 2-acre outdoor Habitat Park exhibit will burn off excess energy starting in late March (weather dependent). Four infant areas provide a safe place for babies to explore. Cosi cafe in the Museum offers an easy lunch option, with kid-friendly food items.
