The Third Thursday of every month at DuPage Children's Museum is a special time for families of children with autism spectrum disorder, visual impairments and/or mobility impairments. Exhibits and facilitation offer ways to work on language development, social skills and purposeful play. The entire family can explore the Museum from 5-7 p.m. during a typically quieter time, although it is open to the public. Photo books are available to help visitors structure a visit. Specially trained staff will assist with art activities, and resource tables will provide information on issues and services. Third Thursday programs are free with DCM members or free with admission. For information, call (630) 637-8000 or visit www.dupagechildrensmuseum.org. March 18.
