A historic mansion and gardens with special programming. Events: "Kids Cook" for kids ages 8-12. Hands-on classes taught on Saturday mornings, 9:30-noon, by professional chefs in the mansion's newly-remodeled catering kitchen Cost per class: $50 Oak Park residents/$55 non-resident. You must register in advance. Holiday Open House, Monday, December 4-7, 11 a.m. -7p.m. The mansion, beautifully decorated for the holidays, provides a great background for your holiday photos--bring your camera! Self-guided tours. No admission fee, but please bring non-perishable food item to be donated to the local food pantry. A special musical performance by the Oak Park River Forst Children's Chorus will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evening
