White walls and space-age lights make this museum a tranquil escape from the traffic outside. With four floors, the MCA is big enough to fill up a few hours and still manageable enough to fit around naps and school schedules. Exhibit halls are filled with brightly colored artwork and sculptures even young kids will enjoy. The MCA has illustrated building maps that visitors of all ages to envision their own artworks and exhibitions. Stroller tours offered the first Wednesday of every of every month (11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). The whole family can enjoy outdoor jazz performances on the MCA’s terrace and sculpture garden as part of Tuesdays on the Terrace (5:30-8 p.m.) The MCA Café is the restaurant on-site that offers lunch daily with convenient and tasty options and indoor or outdoor seating.
