Before injured and abandoned animals are returned to the wild, many stay at Willowbrook. Some animals live at the center year-round, including a bald eagle, golden eagle, turkey vultures and red foxes. See many animal residents along the exhibit trail, and watch birds and insects visit flowers in the butterfly garden. An interpretive hiking trail winds through 40 acres of restored habitats. Puzzles, games and puppets offer indoor educational opportunities.
