This 1,100-acre forest preserve offers a wide range of outdoor recreation and education opportunities centered on a 115-acre lake reclaimed from a gravel quarry. Featuring miles of trails, boat and bicycle rental, marina, swimming beach and the Children's Grove handicap-adaptable play area.
