A community-based nature sanctuary and urban oasis in the Fuller Park neighborhood. The 3.5 acre site is host to a native prairie preserve, wetland, perennial garden, community garden, green house, woodland, and a petting zoo which includes egg-laying hens, ducks, ferrets, ponies, geese, a goat, and pot-bellied pigs. Eden Place also features a "Good Food Garden" installed by the Food Network and a Children's Garden where youth learn about how to grow healthy food. It is focused on providing opportunities for environmental education, nature recreation, and conservation to local youth and families. Featuring educational workshops and family oriented events.
