Hours: March-last Saturday in October: Grounds 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily. Nature center 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Last Sunday in October-February: Grounds 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Nature Center 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Building closed on Friday. Closed holidays.
There are live animals in the center, nature displays and a children's area. Outside three trails wind through 1,000 acres of ponds, forest and prairies. Kid's Explorer Kits and binoculars available.
