Hours: The equestrian office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed some holidays. The surrounding Danada Forest Preserve is open daily from one hour after sunrise until one hour after sunset.
Admission: Free to forest preserve and equestrian center. Fees for lessons, tours and hayrides.

Danada's equestrian programs give a holistic approach to horses and the daily care and teach basic riding skills to participants 12 and older. Fall programs include group barn tours, horse-drawn hayrides and riding and horsemanship lessons. Private hayrides for groups of 10 or more are available by reservation. The annual Danada Fall Festival on Oct. 14 offers a free day of family fun. The surrounding Danada Forest Preserve offers over 3 miles of multipurpose trails and fishing at Rice Lake.
