Live, one-day, free music festival on the first day of summer in tandem with a growing global phenomenon called Fête de la Musique. Throughout the day, people of all ages and from all backgrounds gather in Chicago's public spaces, including Daley Plaza, Millennium Park, the North Michigan Avenue and Lincoln Park Apple stores, Macy's State Street, John Hancock Center, Lincoln Park Zoo and over 25 Chicago Park District sites, to perform music of all genres. Grand finale concert is 6-9 p.m. at St. James Cathedral Commons.
