This Scottish fest, the largest in the Midwest, features a highland dance competition, the crowning of the Heather Queen and Court, traditional and contemporary Celtic music, traditional games, cultural exhibits, car show, kids' crafts and activities. Watching local strongmen in the Caber Toss (flipping a 20-foot, 140-pound tree trunk) will make packing the kids into the minivan seem like no big deal.
