According to one of Chicago's premier children's entertainers and Wiggleworms instructors, Ann Torralba, a.k.a., "Little Miss Ann," the Chicago Folk and Roots Festival presented by the Old Town School of Music is "mellow and safe and the 'Kindie' music is phenomenal." The festival, which is celebrated over two days and has a "solid reputation for artistic quality," features not only children's music, but also an art tent where the kids can explore their tactile senses as well as their auditory ones. The fest is located in Welles Park in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Look for Chicago Parent's booth for a great goody bag.
Old Town School of Music produces a festival of more than 35 acts including music, dance parties, jams and family activities. Also features the best local and regional craft breweries and Lincoln Square restaurants.
